Playoff Baseball in Baltimore.

“Fireworks explode over Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland as the starting lineups are introduced before game one of the 2012 American League Division Series between the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Yankees Saturday, October 7, 2012. A sold out crowd was on hand for the first playoff game in Baltimore since 1997.”

I can’t post any more photos, but I wanted to include this one just to document working my first Major League Baseball playoff game.

This was a dream come true for me. Taking photographs for the Baltimore Orioles in a sold out Camden Yards during the first playoff games in Baltimore since 1997 – what could be better?

I was assigned to roam the stadium and hunt for fan and environment features, something I’m very fresh on through my work at Fenway Park this year.

The energy in the stadium was incredible, and the fans collectively made for great subjects to photograph.

Most importantly, it was great to see friends at the game as well as old colleagues from the Orioles.

Here’s to more Orioles playoff baseball!

  1. I hope you keep posting the pictures, I really enjoy them. I have been watching a couple of the Orioles games because a friend is a big fan. It was fun!!
