Another win for the Red Sox yesterday. A busy day of non-baseball related photo requests, so not much art for me!

With all nine batters in the line up producing at least one hit and Rick Porcello turning in another strong performance on the mound, the Red Sox cruised to an 8–3 victory over the Blue Jays. Sandy Leon hit a double and a two-run home run, contributing to the Red Sox 13 total hits.

Andrew Benintendi led the Red Sox to an 8–3 victory over the Blue Jays in yesterday’s opener of a three game series. Benintendi fell just a double shy of the cycle and belted a three-run home run over the Green Monster in a five-run bottom of the fourth. J.D. Martinez added his 17th home run this season, and Jackie Bradley Jr. made a stellar leaping catch in centerfield. Before the game, the Red Sox recognized retired and active military in a pre-game ceremony in honor of Memorial Day.

Boston Red Sox Photos: 2018 Hall Of Fame & Fenway Honors Gala.

The Boston Red Sox introduced the newest members of the Red Sox Hall of Fame and presented members of the community with the Red Sox Foundation’s “Fenway Honors” award for charitable achievements at the 2018 Red Sox Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Fenway Honors Gala. The event was held at the Westin Copley Hotel.

Former Red Sox players Kevin Youkilis, Derek Lowe, Mike Lowell, and the late John Frank “Buck” Freeman were selected as the 2018 Red Sox Hall of Fame inductees. Alphonso “Al” Green, who has spent the last 44 years working with the Red Sox, was chosen as the non-uniformed inductee.

The Red Sox Hall of Fame also awarded a “Special Achievement” inductee, recognizing the success and accomplishments of a member of the public and the impact they have had on the Red Sox and baseball. The first-ever Special Achievement inductee was Arthur D’Angelo, owner of Twins Enterprises, The Souvenir Store on Jersey Street, and founder of ’47 Brand, a company that produces licensed apparel for Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, and over 650 colleges.

Photos: 2018 Adidas Boost Boston Games.

Here is a gallery of images from the 2018 Adidas Boston Boost games held this weekend in downtown Boston. I was hired to shoot cover the event for Adidas in partnership with Global Athletics.

A cold, rainy Saturday night session made for a less than ideal night of shooting, but the weather made for some dramatic light and atmosphere as the sun went down at the MIT track in Cambridge. On Sunday, I covered long jump action in Copley Square, and straight track race action on Charles Street next to Boston Common. I had a great time shooting this event!
