Photos: 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Here is a gallery of photos from yesterday’s 2018 MLB All-Star Game at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. This was my third straight year shooting the All-Star Game. It seems to get crazier and crazier each year. The media presence there is massive and the schedule is full. It’s a constant struggle to get in the right position to get the shots you need to get, and overall, it’s just a long few days.

But it’s a really fun few days. It’s always a pleasure catching up with photographers and editors I haven’t seen for awhile, and to work with the people on my team and Red Sox players to put together some great content. Another one down!

Boston Red Sox Photos: Saturday, July 14, 2018 vs. Toronto Blue Jays.

Here are photos from an epic win this afternoon which finished with a walk-off grand slam home run by Xander Bogaerts. It was a great day for pictures and I feel good about the results I got, both on the ground and with a remote camera I had firing from the roof of Fenway Park.

This team is fun.

The red hot Red Sox increased their winning streak to a season high ten games last night by downing the Toronto Blue Jays 6–4. Mookie Betts capped a thirteen pitch at-bat with an epic grand slam and an even bigger reaction. As a photographer, you have to love when the players give it up like Mookie did. Big celebration!

Photo: Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez pose for cover of Red Sox Magazine.

Above is the most recent cover of Red Sox Magazine, which features a portrait I shot of Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez and right fielder Mookie Betts. Both players are putting together historic individual seasons so far, and have led the team to the best record in Major League Baseball through the first half of the season. We wanted to feature these two guys as the team’s leaders on our cover.

The portrait and light trail effects were achieved in-camera with the combination of the PixelStick, a nifty device that takes light painting to a different level, and studio strobes. Our Director of Creative Services, Tim Heintzelman, held the pixelstick as he physically walked in circles around the two players over the course of an eight second exposure in a darkened room. At the end of the eight second exposure, two studio strobes popped with the camera set to rear-sync flash.

Mookie and J.D. actually arrived to the shoot wearing shorts, so the pants were later masterfully photoshopped on by our lead graphic designer, Marissa McClain.

This was a great team effort by our creative group in what was a difficult shoot to pull off!

Photos: Luke Bryan & Sam Hunt At Fenway Park.

Concert season at Fenway Park continued last Friday night when country star Luke Bryan performed in front of a sellout crowd. He was joined by Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi, Morgan Wallen, and DJ Rock.

Here’s a gallery of images from an exciting night. I had fun wrestling my way through the crowds to get a few of these shots.

Wedding: Stephanie & Max – Peabody, Massachusetts.

Another wedding is up! Here’s a gallery from a beautiful early summer wedding at Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm in Peabody, Massachusetts. A big thanks to Stephanie and Max for having us there on their wedding day.

A beautiful venue, a perfect summer day, and a fantastic couple to work with made our job easy. This is a selection of some of our favorites from the day, shot by myself and second photographer, Marissa McClain.

Congratulations Stephanie and Max!
