Boston Red Sox Photos: American Flag Dropped Over Green Monster For Memorial Day.

The Red Sox today paid tribute to those who lost their lives in combat by dropping the American flag over the Green Monster wall in Left Field. The flag drop was punctuated by a bugle performance of Taps by Medford, MA, native Robert Bean, a retired member of the U.S. Marine Corps and National Guard.

It was neat to be inside the empty ballpark for this beautiful little event. I utilized remote cameras to get multiple angles of the drop since I could only be in one spot. Glad they all worked out and go the shots I needed!

Below is a behind the scenes video I made for my YouTube channel.

A Happy Memorial Day to all.

Photos: Boston Red Sox Honor EMS With Convoy Of Champions.

A convoy of 50 ambulances, representing the state’s more than 20,000 paramedics, EMTs, and 911 dispatchers, traveled from UMass Medical Center in Worcester to the warning track inside Fenway Park today.

The event took on even greater significance this year because of the unprecedented response to the COVID-19 crisis from EMS professionals and their colleagues across the state’s medical community.

What an awesome display of appreciation for the EMS professionals across the state! Grateful to have been there to shoot this.

Photos: Boston Red Sox Thank Nurses With Outfield Grass Pattern.

Boston Red Sox head groundskeeper Dave Mellor and his team created a stencil in the outfield grass in recognition of Nurses and other front line responders amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The pattern features a socially distanced version of the Red Sox hanging sox logo, and a message displaying “❤ Nurses.” Below are some aerial images and photos of the field, as our photo and video team was granted special access to the empty ballpark.

Photos: Front Porch Project Family Portraits.

I grabbed my cameras and hit the road this week to take family portraits of four great families who requested to take part in the Front Porch Challenge, a photography trend playing out during the Coronavirus pandemic. The challenge calls for photographers to shoot portraits of families standing on their front porches from a safe distance away. Here are a few samples from the day!
