Boston Red Sox Photos: Ron Roenicke Named As Interim Manager.

The Boston Red Sox today announced that Ron Roenicke has been named Interim Manager.

Roenicke, 63, spent the last two seasons (2018–19) as the Red Sox’ bench coach, helping guide the club to a franchise-record 108 regular-season wins and a World Series championship in 2018, followed by another winning season in 2019 (84–78). The 2020 season will be his 30th as a coach or manager, including his 23rd in the major leagues.

Red Sox Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom, General Manager Brian O’Halloran, and Roenicke were available for a press conference at jetBlue Park this afternoon. Following the press conference, Roenicke posed for his first portrait as Manager.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Matt Barnes In Connecticut.

Matt Barnes has become an anchor of the Red Sox bullpen since his Major League debut with the club in 2013. Through a World Series Championship in 2018, Barnes remains hungrier than ever to succeed, and has spent his offseason working out in preparation for the 2020 season. A New Englander himself, Barnes chooses to live in his hometown of Newtown, Connecticut over the winters. Red Sox content crews caught up with Barnes for a glimpse into his winter routine in Connecticut

Boston Red Sox Photos: Offseason All-Access In Miami.

Over the winter, our Red Sox content crew took a trip down to the Miami area to catch up with a few of our guys during their offseason. J.D. Martinez, Christian Vazquez, and Eduardo Rodriguez were gracious in letting us catch a glimpse of their lives at the gym, in the batting cage, and at their homes. Here is a gallery of some lifestyle work with each of them, as well as some burst sequence videos from the workouts I put together.

Photos: Cycle For Survival Held At Equinox Boston.

Here are some edits from this year’s Cycle For Survival event at Equinox gym in downtown Boston. In partnership with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the nationwide spin cycling event raises money for research for rare forms of cancer.

This is the third straight year I have covered this event. A big thanks to Drawbridge Digital as always for having me cover Boston’s leg!

Here are some features shot for Boston College Athletics during their football early morning pre-season working. Emotions were high as the boys were run through the gauntlet of mat and agility drills. This was fun to shoot bright and early this morning!

Here are some highlights from last night’s game between Boston College and Duke University at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill. I spent some time roaming for fan and stadium features in addition to being on the floor for game action. Thanks to Boston College for having me out to shoot!

Boston Red Sox Photos: 2020 Winter Weekend.

Back on the Winter Weekend grind! The Boston Red Sox hosted the sixth annual Baseball Winter Weekend, although at a new home at MGM Casino in Springfield, Massachusetts. The event included a Town Hall Meeting with Red Sox players and leadership, autographs and photo opportunities with Red Sox players, and round-table discussions on a variety of baseball topics. We also tagged along with the players for an exclusive event at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The new venue presented challenges for us in terms of accessibility and fluidity, but we made the best of what we could, and still have some nice moments from the weekend in photos. Here’s a gallery of some favorite behind the scenes images.

A job well-done by all members of the Boston Red Sox front office who came together to make it happen!
