Here are some quick stills from yesterday’s action at the BNP Paribas Open.
Last year’s Wimbledon champion and home town hero Andy Murray is out of the tournament, as he lost in straight sets this afternoon to Grigor Dimitrov.
These are just a few scenes from the aftermath. My job was to follow him around as best as I could as he left the grounds of the All England Club.
The preparations are all set, and tennis at the Championships Wimbledon 2014 begins tomorrow! Here are a few scenes from the last day of pre-championship activity.

I’m here in London, England, where I’m lucky enough to be photographing my third straight Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
This year, I’m working as a member of the official tournament photography staff, which shoots for both the tournament website, wimbledon.com, as well as for marketing and publications within the All England Lawn and Tennis Club. This is my first year working for this department, so it’s needless to say that I’m thrilled to have this opportunity.
Today was my first day shooting, so I spent it getting my bearings and learning the new system. These photos are a mix of activity out on the practice courts and a few introductory press conferences.
I’m looking forward to posting every day as the tournament goes on!
I don’t have much time to post, but here are the highlights from yesterday at Indian Wells.
What a day of tennis. Just like that, the two defending champions of this tournament, Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal, are out of the draw after being upset to two underdogs.
Great drama. Great moments.
