2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 6.

Here is a collection of photos from some great moments yesterday at the BNP Paribas Open. More to come from a big day today!

2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 5.

Here is a gallery from ATP and WTA All-Access Hour and media availability today at the BNP Paribas Open, as well as a few from some practice sessions as the bigger names arrived on site.

Didn’t get the chance to shoot a lot of match action today, but there were some fun features from the media hour. When you take a step back, it’s crazy to see moments like the above, with the world’s best so close to each other.

2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 4.

Here are a few photos from some preliminary activity around the grounds.

Video: 4 Wheeling With CoCo Vandeweghe.

Sometimes, my job takes me to some pretty cool places.

We received word that rising American tennis star and California native, CoCo Vandeweghe, goes 4 wheeling in the desert every year that she plays in this tournament, so this year, we decided to tag along.

I had a great time, despite hanging off the side of a cramped, rusty back trailer that I’m told was made for a six year-old. Probably not one of the wisest decisions I’ve made, but I lived to tell the tale. I had to jump off after awhile and film while standing on the course. It was just too bumpy.

On the tennis front, I’ve included some photos from preliminary tournament action around the grounds. The light was particularly nice for Rafael Nadal’s arrival to the tournament, so I posted some of those in the gallery below.

Here is a gallery of all the action yesterday at the BNP Paribas Open. These are some selects from Kids Day, as well as the McEnroe Challenge for charity.

More to come!

Photos: 2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 1.

I’ve returned to beautiful, sunny Palm Springs, California, where I’m here to shoot my third BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. After a long, tough winter in Boston, naturally I’m thrilled to be out here shooting tennis in the sunshine for a few weeks.

This is one of the best tournaments on tour, so I’m excited to get some really good photo and video coverage for the tournament website, social media channels, and marketing materials.

I’m here a week before the tournament starts to cover several things happening, including the second annual John McEnroe Challenge for Charity, which brings former tennis stars and current players together for a night of exhibition matches to raise money for various charities. Last night was the draw ceremony and VIP reception for the event, so I’ve included a few pictures from that. John McEnroe was of course in the house, along with James Blake, Andy Roddick, Tracy Austin, Lindsay Davenport, Rick Leach, Coco Vandeweghe, and others.

I’ll be sure to post updates daily as the tournament goes on!
