Boston Red Sox: Tuesday, May 4, 2021 Vs. Detroit Tigers.

Here are a few looks from last night’s game against the Detroit Tigers.

Stills: Boston Red Sox Celebrate Patriots’ Day.

The Boston Red Sox recognized Patriots’ Day by wearing their special edition jerseys and dropping the American flag over the Green Monster.

Stills: Boston Red Sox Spring Workouts.

Here’s a look into my first week of Spring Training coverage for the Boston Red Sox. I’ve been focused on covering team workouts in a thorough, complete way while maintaining my own creative look and style.

Stills: Boston Red Sox MLB Photo Day.

I’m excited to share new portraits work for the Boston Red Sox. This year, we created a hazy, dream-like look to compliment our creative aesthetic for the year. With continuous LED lighting, prisms, and filters, I created these hazy, colorful portraits marked by lens flares, reflections, and blurred edges. I shot both a warm and a cool look, which complement each other and come together as a cohesive set.

Portraits: Tufts University Gordon Institute.

Here is a selection of student portraits shot for The Tufts Gordon Institute at Tufts University. The institute was looking for individual portraits of the students in this year’s MS and Innovation Management Program. This was the third year we’ve worked on this project together.

We decided upon a simple three light high-key set up for a classic, seamless look on a white backdrop. All of the students were fantastic to work with, and weren’t afraid to let their personalities show through in front of the camera. Above are some of my favorites from the two days of shooting.

Many thanks to Tufts University for having me on board!

Photos: Front Porch Project Family Portraits.

I grabbed my cameras and hit the road this week to take family portraits of four great families who requested to take part in the Front Porch Challenge, a photography trend playing out during the Coronavirus pandemic. The challenge calls for photographers to shoot portraits of families standing on their front porches from a safe distance away. Here are a few samples from the day!

Corporate Environmental Portraits: Elevate Communications.

Here’s a sampling of new portrait work shot recently for Elevate Communications, the great PR/content powerhouse in downtown Boston. These will be used as the firm transitions through a rebrand on their new website. I shot these in various locations around their office with a simple one (sometimes two) light set up. They are meant to each have variety as stand alone images yet still hold together as a cohesive set thematically and stylistically.

A big thank you to the team at Elevate for having me in for these!

Portraits: Tufts Gordon Institute Student Portraits.

Here are some outtakes from a recent shoot I worked on for the Tufts Gordon Instituteat Tufts University. The institute was looking for individual portraits of the students in this year’s MS and Innovation Management Program. This was the second year in a row we have worked on this project together.

We decided upon a simple three light high-key set up for a classic, seamless look on a white backdrop. All of the students were fantastic to work with, and weren’t afraid to let their personalities show through in front of the camera. Above are some of my favorites from the two days of shooting, converted to black and white.

Many thanks to Tufts University for having me on board!

Photos: Blogger Carolyn Pomeranz For CorePower Yoga.

This is a selection of candid and posed portraits, shot both with strobes and natural light, of fashion and lifestyle blogger Carolyn Pomeranz. These images are shot for CorePower Yoga.

Boston Startup Photography: Elektrofi.

I was recently hired by Boston biotech startup company Elektrofi to shoot headshot portraits and environmental laboratory photos for their upcoming website redesign. Here is a gallery of some of my favorite portraits and lab images from the shoot. The portrait look is a simple two light set up on blue seamless, and the photos in the lab were achieved with a combination of available light and off-camera strobe.
