2019 Boston Red Sox Top Shots – Homestand 3.

Here is a montage of the top photos, timelapses, video clips and parallax images from the Boston Red sox photography staff over the third home stand of the 2019 season. The video clips were shot by both Red Sox Productions and NESN.

A win today as the team heads on the road! Here are a few that I liked from today at Fenway Park.

A tough one last night, but finally starting to turn the corner toward summertime.

Magazine Cover: Boston Red Sox Shortstop Xander Bogaerts.

Here’s a new cover image shot for Red Sox Magazine of shortstop Xander Bogaerts, who recently signed a six year extension and will be the mainstay in the Fenway infield for year’s to come.

This was a great collaboration with our talented Grounds Crew, who created the “X” pattern made entirely of a combination of wet and dry dirt in the infield. Above is also the double truck spread for the story inside the magazine.

Photos & Video: Vazquez Baby Gender Reveal

A big thanks to Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez and his wife Gaby for having me shoot their baby gender reveal! This was the fun video and photos we were able to get of the announcement that a baby boy is on the way. Kellan Reck of Red Sox Productions shot the video footage which I edited into this piece to compliment the photos.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Vs. Colorado Rockies.

A walk-off last night for the rookie Michael Chavis! A long, drawn out game, but glad it ended with the right result.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Tuesday, May 14, 2019 Vs. Colorado Rockies.

A bit late on this one. In this inter league game against the Colorado Rockies, I witnessed one of the most impressive, historic pitching performances I’ll ever see. Chris Sale struck out 17 batters over 7 innings. It was unbelievable.

Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get the job done on a Red Sox win, but I feel lucky to be able to have witnessed such a feat.

Another win for the sox on what seemed like our first nice, warm, blue-sky sunny day of the season at Fenway Park. It makes a difference.

Boston Red Sox Photos: World Champions Visit White House And Walter Reed.

My first trip to the White House! What an honor to be able to join members of the Red Sox as they were officially recognized by the White House for their historic 2018 World Series championship season. This was a crazy, nonstop day but one that I won’t forget. Being inside the White House and having access to shoot in such a historic place was true privilege, and it was fun to watch our players, coaches, and staff interact with the spaces around the grounds and with President Donald Trump. I am putting any sort of politics aside for this one, and just tried to make impactful images of the Red Sox on this special day.

Before the White House, players visited patients and staff at Walter Reed National Military Center hospital.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Bogaerts, Devers, Nunez Eat Crabs In Baltimore.

Before yesterday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox infielders Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, and Eduardo Nunez visited Nick’s Fish House in Baltimore to eat Maryland style crabs. It was fun to see these guys experience something that was new for them in a city they’ve been to many times before. As a Baltimore guy myself, I had a blast on this one.

A big thank you to Nick’s Fish House for the hospitality, and to the players for their time! The video you see here was shot and edited by Luke Fraser of Red Sox Productions.
