Portraits: Boston Red Sox At Casino Night.

Last night, members of the Boston Red Sox attended the annual Casino Night at jetBlue Park, a fundraiser that benefits the Red Sox Foundation. It’s not often that you get the entire team together, so we tried to capitalize on the opportunity and set up some stylized portraits of the players and coaches dressed out of uniform. We went for a vintage look with our backdrop and floor, as well as a few props here and there.

Here is a gallery of the results.

Boston Red Sox Photos: 2018 Winter Weekend.

The Boston Red Sox once again hosted a weekend getaway of hot stove fun for fans and families last weekend at the fourth annual “Baseball Winter Weekend” at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The event included a Town Hall Meeting with Red Sox leaders, autographs and photos with Red Sox players, and round-table discussions on a variety of baseball topics. The weekend also included a full baseball festival for fans of all ages and clinics for kids.

Here is a gallery of photos from the weekend.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Brock Holt Designs Custom Cleats At New Balance.

Last week, my coworkers in the Boston Red Sox marketing department and I attended a collaborative meeting with the marketing team at New Balance, one of the Red Sox’ top partners, at their global headquarters in Brighton, Massachusetts. After a fantastic discussion and brainstorm of ideas, we learned that Red Sox utility man Brock Holt was also scheduled to visit the headquarters later that afternoon to help with the design of his custom cleat line for the upcoming 2018 season.

After some last minute planning, I was given access to follow Brock inside the design board room to shoot his meeting. Here are a few behind the scenes images from Brock’s visit. A big thank you to New Balance, the Red Sox, and Brock and his family for making this happen.

The Red Sox returned to Fenway Park down 0–2 in the American League Division Series, but stayed alive with a convincing 10–3 win over the Houston Astros. A go-ahead home run by Rafael Devers, clutch defense in right field by Mookie Betts, and a dominant relief pitching performance by David Price all contributed to the Red Sox the win. Game four is this afternoon!

Boston Red Sox Photos: Wednesday, September 27, 2017 vs. Toronto Blue Jays.

Hanley Ramirez, Xander Bogaerts, and Mitch Moreland all went deep last night to power the Red Sox past the Blue Jays. The Red Sox head into the final series of the regular season with a magic number of two games to clinch the American League East Division.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Thursday, September 14, 2017 vs. Oakland Athletics.

The Red Sox won again yesterday, as Andrew Benintendi went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead the Red Sox to a 6–2 win over the Oakland A’s. It was their third straight series win to complete this nine game home stand.

A favorite jersey dress code was also enforced on the team’s charter to Tampa, so I got a few quick portraits of the players with their jerseys.

Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts and One Mission partnered with Pitching in for Kids on the inaugural Mookie’s Big League Bowl event at Lucky Strike Lanes in Boston earlier this week. The event raised funds to help improve the lives of children and families in New England.

In attendance were local celebrities and other members of the Boston Red Sox team.

The Red Sox put up 10 runs last night to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals in the first of a two game series. Team defense was solid backing up Rick Porcello on the mound, and was highlighted by a rare 5–4–3 triple play.
