Boston Red Sox Photos: David Ortiz Arrives At Camp.

Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz arrived to jetBlue Park at Fenway South today to check in with members of the 2020 team. Here are some images from the day.

Boston Red Sox Photos: 2020 Photo Day.

Team photo day is done and done again this year! Earlier today, our full roster of players and coaches came through our set to pose for portraits ahead of the 2020 season. This day serves as our opportunity to gather the visual assets we need to carry us through across multiple platforms throughout the season.

Black, white, and red all over was our move this year! Our incredible team designers Marissa McClain and Nick Sciarratta designed this abstract Fenway Park blueprint set with a dramatic color scheme for the players to pose in. As a last minute addition, we threw in some black plexiglass on the ground to add some dimension to the room we created out of the two backdrops. This look had it’s challenges, but I’m proud of our team for putting in the work and trial runs necessary to execute it well. Props to Maddie Malhotra, our staff photographer, for shooting a perfect white seamless set and putting together this fresh looking blog post of our day.

A huge thanks to the players and coaches for their time, and to everyone in our Creative Services and Media Relations teams for making it happen!

Boston Red Sox Spring Training Workout

Boston Red Sox Photos: Weekend Workouts Continue at JetBlue Park.

Pitchers and catchers continued workouts today at jetBlue Park. Several position players also reported to camp and worked out in the cages and on the field.

A loss last night but still a fun day of shooting, including some behind the scenes moments before the game.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Friday, June 21, 2019 Vs. Toronto Blue Jays.

Walk-off! It feels like finally this year we got our first real, definitive walk-off last night, as Christian Vazquez hit the game-winning two run home run to cap a 5-1 come from behind win. That’s more like what we’re used to!

Here were some images from the end as well as the rest of the game.

Tough one tonight in extra innings. Before the game, the Red Sox held a moment of reflection for David Ortiz in the wake of a shooting incident in the Dominican Republic.

A win today as the team heads on the road! Here are a few that I liked from today at Fenway Park.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Tuesday, May 14, 2019 Vs. Colorado Rockies.

A bit late on this one. In this inter league game against the Colorado Rockies, I witnessed one of the most impressive, historic pitching performances I’ll ever see. Chris Sale struck out 17 batters over 7 innings. It was unbelievable.

Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get the job done on a Red Sox win, but I feel lucky to be able to have witnessed such a feat.

Boston Red Sox Photos: World Champions Visit White House And Walter Reed.

My first trip to the White House! What an honor to be able to join members of the Red Sox as they were officially recognized by the White House for their historic 2018 World Series championship season. This was a crazy, nonstop day but one that I won’t forget. Being inside the White House and having access to shoot in such a historic place was true privilege, and it was fun to watch our players, coaches, and staff interact with the spaces around the grounds and with President Donald Trump. I am putting any sort of politics aside for this one, and just tried to make impactful images of the Red Sox on this special day.

Before the White House, players visited patients and staff at Walter Reed National Military Center hospital.

Boston Red Sox Photos: Wednesday, May 8, 2019 Vs. Baltimore Orioles.

The Red Sox beat the Orioles 2–1 on a 14 strike out pitching performance by Chris Sale, who allowed just one run on three hits. Jackie Bradley Jr. saved the game by robbing Orioles right fielder Trey Mancini of a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th, and Andrew Benintendi, hit a go-ahead home run to give the Sox a lead they would hold.

That was a long one but a fun one. I have an early morning tomorrow on what should be a wild day – our trip to the White House.
