Today, jetBlue Park opened its doors to fans for the annual Open House. After team workouts, fans were able to get autographs, enjoy time on the stadium field and interact with Red Sox memorabilia and entertainers.

Photos: 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

It’s been an amazing few days out here in San Diego, California! I’ve been out here at PETCO Park covering the Boston Red Sox representatives at the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

I had my hands full, as this was the tenth and final All-Star game for Red Sox designated hitter, David Ortiz. That made for some nice moments. We also had three of our youngest and brightest – shortstop Xander Bogaerts, right fielder Mookie Betts, and center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. – all who made the All-Star starting lineup. It was nonstop shooting for me from the beginning to the end of the day.

This was the first All-Star Game that I’ve shot, and it was a really fun experience for me. It was great to document our team, but also to meet and see all the other photographer and team photographers there covering the game. It’s a reunion, of sorts, for us baseball team photographers.

Here are some images from the day. A big thank you to the Boston Red Sox for making this possible!

The Red Sox representatives of the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star game have arrived in San Diego, and are enjoying the experience with their fellow American Leaguers. Here are some images from American League Batting practice yesterday, as well as the Home Run Derby.

More to come from today’s All-Star Game!

Photos: jetBlue Flies Red Sox All-Stars To San Diego.

I’m out here in San Diego, California! Last night, the five members of the Boston Red Sox selected to the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star game flew to San Diego. jetBlue, the official airline of the Boston Red Sox, flew pitcher Steven Wright, shortstop Xander Bogaerts, right fielder Mookie Betts, center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr., designated hitter David Ortiz and families to the West Coast.

I was asked to join the flight to document everything happening. This was my first time flying on the team charter with the team, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. I tried to show some behind the scenes moments from the trip without being intrusive to the players and their families. It’s a balancing act, but I think some of these images are pretty neat.

Stay tuned for more coverage from the All-Star festivities at PETCO Park!

The Sox won the second of a three game series against Baltimore last night, led by a shut-down pitching performance by knuckle-baller, Steven Wright. Hanley Ramirez broke the game open in the third inning with a monster three-run home run. The rubber game of the series is tonight at Fenway Park!

Fenway Park welcomed back the 1986 Boston Red Sox team for a special 20-year reunion celebration yesterday. There were some neat moments having this historic team back together to relive their American League pennant winning season.

The current Red Sox team also came up big with another win against the Rockies.

A good win for the Red Sox last night. The rubber game of this three game series against Tampa is today!

Boston Red Sox Photos: Sunday, June 7, 2015 vs. Oakland Athletics.

What a game yesterday! After finding themselves down 4-0 the entire game, the Red Sox managed to pull together a 7-run eighth inning. The late game rally would lead them to a win and a series sweep over the Oakland Athletics, their first sweep of the 2015 season.

It seems like that was huge for team morale, and is hopefully a turning point for a season that has gotten off to a difficult start.

Needless to say, it was a great day for pictures. Unfortunately, I was off my game a bit yesterday, and although this take above looks nice, I have to admit that I missed a few key quick moments. Ultimately, we have pictures that tell the story, but I’m kicking myself for not having a few of those other frames.

I’m glad the team is on the road for just a few days and comes back on Friday. Need to put this one behind me, sharpen up and get back on track!

A 4:05 PM game is a photographer’s best friend. Great light and an early finish. I tried to move around and chase the light and shadows.

I wish the result would have been better for the hometown team, but there were still some nice pictures.
