Boston Red Sox Photos: 2018 American League Championship Series Game Five Vs. Houston Astros.

We’re back in the World Series! The Red Sox won again in Houston in game five, taking all three games in Houston to win the American League Championship Series 4 games to 1 and advance to a spot in the 2018 World Series. This is huge.

I had a great time shooting the game and the celebration after. Clinch games like these are always long, grueling, and not as easy as it looks from the outside. It takes hours of preparation, logistical planning, working with others to make sure you’re in a position to get what you need. Once the win happens, it’s nonstop shooting for hours, and then straight to packing all the gear and clothes to get  on a plane and fly over night. I’m feeling exhausted, but looking back at these photos, I’m also feeling lucky to be in the position I am.

Now we need four more wins to complete this dream season.

Game three was fun! Got to love a late innings grand slam by Jackie Bradley Jr. to seal the deal on a win to take the series lead. We roll into game four tonight at Minute Maid Park.

We have arrived in Houston! Here’s a few quick grabs from team workouts and media availability today. Game 3 of the series is tomorrow and I can’t wait.

Brock Holt became the first player in Major League history to hit for the cycle in a postseason game, leading the Red Sox offensive charge to a 16–1 victory over the New York Yankees in game three of the American League Series at Yankee Stadium. Starter Nathan Eovaldi mowed through the Yankees lineup, allowing just run one over seven innings pitched. This was a fun one to be at! We look to clinch and advance to the ALCS tomorrow night.

Here are photos from game two of the American League Division Series. A loss for the Red Sox but we’re on to New York for games three and four.

On their off day in New York City before a three-game series against the Yankees, Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez, designated hitter J.D. Martinez, catcher Christian Vazquez, and shortstop Xander Bogaerts visited the Microsoft gaming studio in Manhattan to play video games against each other.

This was a fun look at a lighter side of the guys on a rare off day! I always love to see the athletes and how they live off the field.

Xander Bogaerts doubled, stole third, and scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning of last night’s game to give the Red Sox a win and a series sweep over the Toronto Blue Jays. J.D. Martinez and Rafael Devers both homered for Boston. Before the game, a special pre-game ceremony was held in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness.

Another game last night. Before the game, members of the Red Sox participated in the annual WEEI-NESN Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon, which raises millions of dollars to support cancer research. The pre-game ceremony made for some nice moments between players and young Jimmy Fund patients.
